Candid Specialist Consulting is an NDIS registered provider, which means we are able to provide services to participants of all funding types - self-managed, plan managed and agency managed!

Psychosocial Therapy

One-on-one psychosocial therapy designed to support stress management, skill development, recovery and relapse prevention.

Using aspects of psychoeducation, positive psychology, psychotherapy, and strength-based activities and workbooks, the aim of psychosocial therapy is to build on participant’s strengths, skills and resilience to move through their recovery journey.

Psychosocial Therapy is flexible support that can be provided remotely through telehealth, or face-to-face, and is suitable for all participants of the NDIS, under Improved Daily Living funding.

Goal-Directed Therapy and Recommendations

Learn mindfulness techniques and other adaptive coping mechanisms to support your recovery journey, independence and help you achieve your goals.

At the end of the sessions, a report will be provided to the referring agency with recommendations of supports needed to help you achieve your goals.

Biopsychosocial Assessments

Biopsychosocial Assessments aim to identify the unique contributions of different domains and possible factors to an individual’s physical and psychological health. The assessment supports the formation of a comprehensive report outlining the individual’s strengths and needs pertaining to behavioural health, substance use, and intellectual/developmental disabilities, and provide recommendations for treatment to address these.

Our biopsychosocial are funded under Improved Daily Living for NDIS participants (they are also available for privately paying individuals who are seeking NDIS access support for a reasonable fee), and can support plan reassessments or if you are seeking further support for psychosocial disability related needs.

Psychosocial Therapy and Biopsychosocial Assessments are provided by a registered Social Worker.
